Matt Fraction comes to the show today with stories basically bubbling up and out of him, which is good considering he has to get up in front of 200 people and tell a fairly embarrassing personal anecdote as part of Back Fence PDX this weekend. But how challenging can that really be when his resume includes writing Iron Man, Thor, the event Fear Itself, and now Fantastic Four, as well as his creator-owned Casanova, and directing music videos with Kanye West. But none of that is pressure compared to having to top your son’s last birthday party. Good thing he knows just enough architecture to build a cardboard city for his Godzilla-enamored child and his friends to smash to oblivion. You won’t find out how Fraction comes up with stories – but you will find out WHY. And that’s more important, anyway.

I have Astigmatism and I’ve been wearing contact lenses for about 4 years now. And Fraction is right its really hard to put them in, at least at the beginning because your eye does not want anything in it. After a while though it gets a lot easier…
